A collaborative event, “Kintsugi × Olio d'Oliva,” created by Aiko Zushi and olive oil sommelier YUCCI, who met in Turin, Italy. This unique experience invites you to discover and savor the beauty of kintsugi and olive oil.

Drawn to the shared qualities and mutual resonance between olive oil—nurtured by the Italian land—and kintsugi, the art of repairing with natural urushi lacquer, they have organized six events in Italy and Japan since 2021.

Both the use of olive oil and the practice of repairing with lacquer have histories spanning thousands of years.

With deep respect for the wisdom, techniques, and spirit passed down through generations, the two creators present a moment to experience a bella fusione—a beautiful fusion of traditions.
