2024年2月21日、ミラノファッションウィークの期間中実施されたイタリアのファッションブランドGentryportofinoのイベントにてコラボレーションライブを行いました。
彼らは服飾に使用する素材にこだわり、さらに職人の腕に支えられる高い縫製技術に重きを置いて、心地よさと洗練されたファッション性を兼ね備えたデザインを提案しています。
そんな彼らの誠実なものづくりへのスピリットと、漆をはじめとする自然の材料と細やかな手仕事にこだわり行われる金継ぎとの共通性を一つの空間に体現することをコンセプトに、1日限りの特別なイベントとして本企画は開催されました。
多くの来場者の皆様に、双方の繊細かつ力強い「美」を感じていただくと共に、特に金継ぎにおいては初めて触れる方も多く、その存在を知っていただく機会ともなりました。

Il 21 febbraio 2024 ho fatto una “live performance” per una collaborazione all'evento del marchio di moda italiano Gentryportofino @gentryportofino , tenutosi durante la settimana della moda di Milano.
Sono particolarmente attenti ai materiali che utilizzano per i loro vestiti, pongono l'accento sulle tecniche di cucito avanzate supportate dalle abilità degli artigiani e propongono modelli che uniscono comfort e moda sofisticata.
In questo evento, il concetto era quello di incarnare in un unico spazio la comunanza tra il loro sincero spirito artigianale e il Kintsugi, che viene eseguito attraverso un meticoloso lavoro manuale utilizzando materiali naturali come la lacca.
Molti visitatori hanno potuto apprezzare la bellezza delicata ma potente di entrambe le tecniche, ed è stata anche un'opportunità per loro di conoscere il Kintsugi, soprattutto perché molti non l'avevano mai visto prima.

On February 21, 2024, during Milan Fashion Week, we held a collaborative live performance at an event hosted by the Italian fashion brand Gentryportofino.

The brand places great importance on the materials used in its garments and emphasizes advanced tailoring techniques supported by the skills of artisans, offering designs that combine comfort with refined elegance.

This one-day special event was conceived to embody, within a single space, the shared spirit between their sincere dedication to craftsmanship and kintsugi—an art form rooted in meticulous handwork using natural materials such as urushi lacquer.

Many visitors experienced the delicate yet powerful beauty of both practices. For many, it was also their first encounter with kintsugi, making the event an opportunity to discover its unique essence.
